Professor Yang Wenli Won the First Prize of the Seventh “Overseas Chinese Contribution Award”

The Seventh New Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievements Exchange Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People by All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese on June 15th. Professor Yang Wenli of the School of Physics, Northwest University won the first prize of the “Overseas Chinese Contribution Award”. The Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese has granted 38 first prizes and 66 second prizes of “Overseas Chinese Contribution Award”.
Attendees and presenters include Baima chilin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Chen Xiaoguang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of China Democratic League, and Wan Lijun, the Party Secretary and Chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.
Prof. Yang Wenli was financed by the National Outstanding Youth Fund in 2014 and selected as Yangtze River Scholar Professor of the Ministry of Education in 2015 and as an expert to enjoy special government allowances issued by the State Council in 2016.
