President Guo Lihong Visits Universities in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines

A Northwest University delegation led by President Guo Lihong visited universities in Southeast Asia as a means to broaden cooperation and exchange in this region and to recruit more talents for Northwest University from May 30th to June 7th, 2018. The universities visited include Nanyang Technology University, Singapore; Curtin University, Singapore Campus; University of Malaya, Malaysia, Bulacan State University, Lyceum of the Philippines University. The Confucius Institute Council was held during this visit. Heads from Office of International Affairs and the Personnel Department participated in this event.

During the visit, talks with representatives of five universities were held together with two meetings and the signing of two collaboration agreements and one talent recruitment campaign so as to deepen cooperation with the first-class universities in Southeast Asia and those with distinct regional features, which further facilitates the connection with the resources of higher education in this Southeast Asia.
