A Memorandum of Understanding of Science and Research Cooperation was signed between NWU Research Center of West China Economic Development and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) of South Korea

On July 11th, on NWU Taibai campus, a Memorandum of Understanding of Science and Research Cooperation was signed between NWU Research Center of West China Economic Development, and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) of South Korea. The signing of the memorandum is of great significance to the realization of a series of exchanges and cooperation in joint research, information sharing, academic exchanges, personnel exchanges, and so on. Founded in 1989, the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) is a research institution which acts as a subsidiary to South Korean Prime Minister’s Office. It has carried out extensive research in areas including international macroeconomics and finance, international economic systems, foreign economic relations, theenvironment of emerging markets and foreign local economy research. The latter includes China. The results of its research have always been an important source of reference to the South Korean government when formulating relevant policies, and also to enterprises which try to determine their targeted regions for investment.
