Professor Qu Anjing elected as academician in International Academy of the History of Science
Recently the election result of The International Academy of the History of Science was announced. Professor Qu Anjing from School of Mathematics, NWU was elected as an academician.
International Academy of the History of Science, founded in 1928, is the institute of highest honor in the field of international history of science with its headquarters in Paris. The academy has over 200 academicians and 300 academia correspondents. .
Professor Qu Anjing is the fifth Chinese academician enrolled in this academy since the founding of the PRC after former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhu Kezhen, founder of Chinese medicine history Wang Jimin, Chinese Academy of Sciences scholar Xi Zezong, and former President of the International Society for the History of Science Liu Dun.
