On May 19th, 2020, staged the unveiling ceremony of ‘Affiliated Shenmu Hospital of Northwest University (NWU)’ and ‘NWU-Shenmu Hospital Scientific Station’ after the strategic cooperation agreement was signed by NWU and Shenmu Hospital on the same day.
Guo Lihong, the president of NWU, and Yu Fuchun, the director of Shaanxi Health Commission, jointly announced the establishment of these two institutions and conferred the bronze plaques to them. Then, representatives from NWU and Shenmu Hospital signed the agreement for strategic cooperation.
In accordance to the agreement, NWU shall work with Shenmu Hospital in such fields as medical education, scientific research, clinical medicine by giving full play to its advantages in building disciplines and cultivating talents. Such cooperation will help to build Shenmu Hospital a more comprehensive and professional medical service provider with better education and higer research capabilities. By using its own resources such as its platform, medical personnel, clinical technology and medical service, Shenmu Hospital, as NWU’s partner, accordingly, shall fully support NWU in developing its medical education and ultimately, promoting NWU’s comprehensive strength of providing better education.
Affiliated Shenmu Hospital of Northwest University, a modern and comprehensive medical institution co-devised by NWU and Shenmu Hospital, aims to precisely meet the public’s demand for health care, and to promote its medical services and its ability to control and prevent diseases. This medical institution is dedicated to helping Shenmu, a county-level city of in northern part of Shaanxi Province, to achieve its social and economic development in a sustainable way. Its commissions also include helping to promote NWU’s medical discipline development and make NWU a first-class university with first-class disciplines in China. With these efforts, Affiliated Shenmu Hospital of Northwest University will make new and greater contributions to ‘Healthy Shaanxi’ Vision.
