From November 17-20, 2020, the National Finals of the 6th China International College Students’ ‘Internet +’Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in South China University of Technology, Guangdong Province.
Two teams from NWU entered the finals, and won one gold medal and one bronze medal. The team guided by Professor Cao Wei from the School of Food Science and Technology won the first prize for their project “Honey Production and Poverty Allievation”. It is worth mentioning that it is the first time that NWU won the gold medal of this competition, breaking hence NWU’s record in this competition which was first organized 6 years ago. Also, a bronze medal was awarded to the project “Craniofacial Reconstruction and Identity Authentication in China”.
