Recently, the Nature Index website updated the latest Nature Index ranking for 2022 (statistical time 2021.06.01-2022.05.31). With 190 articles and 69.14 article scores, NWU ranked 202nd in the world, up 72 places from the same period last year, and 51st in the mainland, making a new breakthrough since the 13th Five-Year Plan.
In November 2014, Nature Publishing Group first released the Global Nature Index, which has become an important indicator for evaluating the high-level academic output of research institutions. The Nature Index is based on the number and relative contribution of research papers published by research institutions in the previous year in 82 top journals in the natural sciences, including Nature series, Science and Cell.
