On August 14th, Matkarimov Yahungir Shamuratovich, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Scientific Development of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan, led a delegation of 33-member visited NWU.
Matkarimov Yahungir Shamuratovich said that China and Uzbekistan have a long history of trade and humanistic exchanges along the ancient Silk Road, and Uzbekistan is an active place of mutual exchanges among civilizations, leaving behind rich tourism resources, and he hoped that he could learn from China's advanced experience of cultural heritage development and preservation, so as to deepen the humanistic exchanges between the two sides.
Participants from both sides discussed and exchanged views on the cooperative work carried out and future plans. During the visit, the delegation visited the laboratories of the School of Cultural Heritage and the School of Economics and Management.
