From June 21 to 22, 2025, Northwest University held its 2025 Degree Conferral Ceremony at the gymnasium of the Chang’an Campus.
Degree recipients proceeded to the main stage in groups of eight, organized by their respective schools/departments. Members of the presidium of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee, chairs of subcommittees, and faculty representatives turned the tassel and adjusted the academic caps for each graduate before conferring their degrees.
Subsequently, each graduate took photos with Party Secretary JIANG Lin and President SUN Qingwei to commemorate this significant life moment. Outside the venue, students and their relatives captured memories at various photo spots across the campus.
In the first half of 2025, NWU awarded degrees to a total of 273 doctoral candidates, 3,707 master’s candidates, and 3,704 undergraduates (including continuing education students).
