On the afternoon of September 7, the signing ceremony and forum of the horizontal project between Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association and Edgar &Helen Snow Studies Center was held on NWU Chang'an Campus.
The ceremony was attended by Xue Chao, President of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the 14th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Zhao Zuoniu, Deputy Chairman of the University Council, Zhu Jiulin, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association, Deputy Director of the business department of Shanghai Sun Yat Sen & Soong Ching Ling Culture Management Committee, Song Wei, Deputy Director of the office of Shanghai Sun Yat Sen Soong Ching Ling Cultural Management Committee, Wang Ningning, Deputy Director of the Cultural Security Department of the Memorial Hall of the former residence of Soong Ching Ling, Sun Xianjing, Cultural and Museum Librarian of the Research Office of Soong Ching Ling Cemetery Management Office, Mr. An Wei, founder of Edgar &Helen Snow Studies Center and relevant leaders of the School of Foreign Languages and Edgar &Helen Snow Studies Center. The ceremony was presided over by the head of the School of Foreign Languages.
Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association has entrusted Edgar &Helen Snow Studies Center to carry out historical material exploration and research on the topic of "Soong Ching Ling, Edgar &Helen Snow and the Communist Party of China". The project will enrich the connotation of the research on international friends by Edgar &Helen Snow Studies Center, and it will also be a gift for the Centennial founding of the party. After the signing ceremony, the participants visited Edgar &Helen Snow reading room and exhibition of ICCIC.
