Northwest University Performs Well in Third Party Evaluations

Recently, third-party evaluation agencies released their latest 2021 university rankings. Northwest University (NWU) performs well in multiple university rankings, marking new progress in the first year of its Fourteenth Five-Year Period (2016-2022), and a good start a in its efforts to build itself into a “Double First-Class” university (a world-class university with first-class disciplines).

On April 26, ShanghaiRanking Consultancy released the 2021 Ranking of Chinese Universities. NWU ranks No.64 among its domestic counterparts, No.4 in Shaanxi Province, with its overall ranking keeping rising from No. 102 in 2017. This progress shows that NWU’s efforts to promote talent training, scientific research, academic training and discipline construction across the university have come to fruition.

Following that, Cuaa.Net announced its 2021 Rankings on China’s Key Universities two days later, with NWU on the 45th place and 3rd place nationwide and in Shaanxi Province respectively. According to Cuaa.Net’s 2021 Rankings on China’s University Prominent Alumni, NWU ranks No.35 in the list of outstanding academic alumni, No. 43 in the list of prominent alumni in political arena, and No. 32 in the list of leading writers and artists. This bears testimony to NWU’s good performance in key indexes including teaching quality and talent training.
