On June 17th, NWU held a 120-day countdown ceremony for the 120th anniversary of the university at Chang’an Campus. NWU presidential members, administrative directors of relevant departments and offices, the advisors of the NWU anniversary affairs, alumni representatives and representatives of teachers and students attended the ceremony. The leaders of the university unveiled the countdown plaque for the 120th anniversary.
Zhang Siwang, a teacher from the School of Fine Art, was presented with a certificate of honour for the design of the 120th anniversary logo.Yuan Ziqiang, Liang Xixi and Sang Siyu, graduate students from the School of Fine Art were presented with a certificate of honour for the design of the main publicity picture of the 120th anniversary.
The ceremony for the meta-universe campus program was also launched. NWU is the first university in China to explore all elements of the meta-universe campus. The program includes digital collection of campus cultural products, a meta-universe lecture hall, a web-based virtual campus portal, a meta-universe virtual exhibition hall, virtual classrooms, virtual simulation experimental labs, etc. A donation signing ceremony was also held with Xi'an Sugar and Wine Group, Giant Biogene Technology Co. and other companies.
