NWU holds a Chinese painting and calligraphy artwork salon

In order to welcome the 120th anniversary of Northwest University, on July 19th, the NWU Calligraphy and Painting Research Association and the NWU library jointly held a Chinese calligraphy and painting artwork salon. Our alumni, the director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Beijing Normal University Professor, Mr. Ni Wendong and the NWU calligraphy enthusiasts Qian Pingyi, Bo Yilin, Deng Yimin, Ding Jingyan, Guo Lin, Xu Zhefeng, Wang Jiangpeng, Yang Guodong, Yang Feng, Liu Liang, etc. participated in the salon. More than 30 pieces of calligraphy and painting artwork were created on site.


The participants fondly reviewed the wonderful activities of the NWU Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in the last century, shared new insights of creation, and exchanged views on further stimulating the enthusiasm of teachers and students to create more artworks, to play the function of cultural education, and to prosper the campus culture.
