At the beginning of 2023, NWU Confucius Classroom at Rayongwittayakom School in Thailand continues to play the role of a model Chinese education institution in the eastern region of Thailand. With the support of school leaders from both sides, the Chinese and foreign directors, teachers and volunteers actively improve the quality of Chinese teaching in the classroom, organize students to enthusiastically participate in Chinese competitions, actively create a series of brand cultural activities, and strive for providing a sunny, healthy and lively atmosphere for learning Chinese culture.
On January 18th, the Confucius Classroom at Rayongwittayakom School in Thailand held a Chinese New Year event to welcome the Year of the Rabbit, presenting good wishes to more than 3,500 students and teachers.Moreover, all school leaders presented the event in traditional Chinese costumes. On January 25th, the 70th Thailand Academic All-Around National Competition was held in Ratchaburi, Central Thailand, for middle and high school students across Thailand.The competition includes two programs: Chinese Speech Contest and Picture Talk Contest. On January 26th, Director Zhao Yanqing of the Bangkok Branch of the Center for Education and Cooperation, together with program coordinator Xie Fei, Ding Xiaoxuan and Zhang Liwei, visited the Chinese volunteers at the Confucius Classroom of Rayongwittayakom School.
The NWU Confucius Classroom at Rayongwittayakom School will continue to improve the leading, service and innovative power of Confucius Classroom in the local area, promote the overall growth and success of students, improve the local international Chinese education level, and further promote and facilitate international Chinese teaching.
