A Russian delegation led by the Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia visited Northwest University

In the afternoon of June 12th, the Chairman Suleymanov and the President Roitman from the Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia, Vice Rector Maximov of the Northeastern Federal University of Russia and Dean Mardinova of the Faculty of Modern Art and Design of Pacific State University visitedNortthwest University. Prof. Lai Shaocong, Vice president of NWU attended the meeting, together with the executives of the Office of International Cooperation, the School of Foreign Languages and the “One Belt and One Road” and “Eurasian Economic Union” Research Center of Northwest University.

The association hopes to take this opportunity of the visit to create more opportunities for practical cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities in terms of talent training and humanistic exchanges, and will seek relevant policy support for the cooperation, said Suleymanov.

Maximov introduced the disciplinary advantages of the Northeastern Federal University of Russia, its scientific research cooperation with Chinese universities and other information. He expressed the hope that mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation would be established between the two universities, and cooperation would be carried out in joint training of students, cooperation in scientific research of teachers and joint international conferences.

Mardinova expressed her hope to expand the exchange and cooperation projects between teachers and students of the two universities by co-organizing painting exhibitions, Russian language teaching exchanges, etc. The visit of the delegation is of great significance for expanding the channels of cooperation and communication between the university and Russian universities and promoting humanistic exchanges between Russia and China.
