NWU Holds the National premiere of the film “The Art Teacher’s Sheep Herding Class” by NWU teachers and students

On the evening of June 28th, the films national premiere was held at the Changan campus sports stadium.

Representatives of teachers and students from Northwest University and sister universities, representatives of the Provincial Opera Institute, the Provincial Composition Association, the Provincial Cinematographers Association and other industry representatives totaled more than 3,000 people attended the premiere.

At the event, director Zhang Zhonghua shared his 19 years of deep commitment to childrens films and reviewed his journey from founding the Tong Hui Film and TV Studio of Northwest University to winning the Huabiao Award, saying that he will continue to persist in his dream and contribute to the development of a new road for Chinese childrens films.

The premiere scene was full of laughter, and the Shaanxi dialect, slang and lines in the film were often used, leading the audience cant help but to repeat. The teachers who watched the film excitedly said, This is a poem written to the simple countryside and youthful past. It is a Chinese youth film with tears in the midst of laughter, which is rooted in the soil of China and grows majestically.
