Two New CSC-Funded Programs Approved at Northwest University

Recently, China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the approval results for the 2025 Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program (hereinafter referred to as Innovative Program) and the Country and Regional Studies Talent Support Program (hereinafter referred to as Country and Regional Studies Program). Organized by the Office of International Cooperation (School of International Education), two initiatives have been successfully approved: A Cooperative International Training Program for Innovative Economic Management Talent Focused on European Issues and Global Transformations sub

mitted by the School of Economics and Management, and China-Arab Joint Training Program for Research Talent on the Exchange and Mutual Learning of Civilizations submitted by the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies.

To enhance the quality and efficiency of state-sponsored overseas study programs, the Office of International Cooperation implements the CSC Innovation Initiative, through which NWU has now secured 4 Innovative Programs and 3 Country and Regional Studies Programs. This brings the total number of CSC-approved projects to 11 since the initiatives launch.

The approved projects have a duration of three years each. During this period, a total of 25 faculty and students from both projects may be selected to study and visit abroad, encompassing categories such as PhD degree candidates, joint-training PhD and masters candidates, masters degree candidates, and visiting scholars.
