On the afternoon of April 18, 2025, NWU convened the launch meeting for its Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Development Project at Chang’an Campus. Over 200 participants attended the meeting, including experts from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xidian University, and NWU, as well as leaders in charge of postgraduate education from various training units, project leaders for AI curriculum development, and faculty-student representatives.
The Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Curriculum Development Project, themed “Interdisciplinary Integration and Digital-Intelligent Empowerment,” aims to explore innovative development paths for postgraduate education in the AI era. Since the project application notice was released, a total of 47 project proposals were received from 18 postgraduate training units, covering disciplines such as economics, law, literature, history, management, art, engineering, and medical science. After preliminary evaluation by experts, 28 projects advanced to the presentation and review stage. At the meeting, experts engaged in in-depth exchanges and interactions with project leaders on aspects including teaching design, curriculum teams, and development plans.
