On the morning of December 16, 2025, the first “Digital Archaeology Talent Training Program for Central Asia” commenced at Northwest University. The ten-day program integrates high-quality resources from NWU in archaeology, remote sensing, and GIS. It features a teaching team composed of renowned experts from domestic universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises in the field. Through a combined approach of “classroom theory, on-site training, and immersive experience,” the program aims to help Central Asian participants enhance their digital literacy, innovative thinking, and practical skills in data collection, 3D recording, and spatial analysis.
