First “Digital Archaeology Talent Training Program for Central Asia” Launched at Northwest University

On the morning of December 16, 2025, the first Digital Archaeology Talent Training Program for Central Asia commenced at Northwest University. The ten-day program integrates high-quality resources from NWU in archaeology, remote sensing, and GIS. It features a teaching team composed of renowned experts from domestic universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises in the field. Through a combined approach of classroom theory, on-site training, and immersive experience, the program aims to help Central Asian participants enhance their digital literacy, innovative thinking, and practical skills in data collection, 3D recording, and spatial analysis.
