12 New Courses Selected as National-Level First-Class Undergraduate Courses

Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Announcing the Results of the Third Batch of National-Level First-Class Undergraduate Course Recognitions. Twelve courses from NWU were selected for this third batch. To date, the university has a total of 46 courses recognized as national-level first-class undergraduate courses and 101 courses recognized as provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses.

The newly approved courses fall into categories such as social practice, online, blended online-offline, offline, and virtual simulation experiment teaching. The first-class social practice course is Geobiology (Leader: ZHANG Xingliang). The first-class online courses are Food Analysis (Leader: SHENG Qinglin), Creative Writing (Leader: CHEN Xiaohui), Crystallography (Leader: KANG Lei), and Innovation and Entrepreneurship: New Thinking and New Practices (Leader: GU Ying). The first-class blended online-offline course is Marketing (Leader: LI Chunqing). The first-class offline courses are News Editing (Leader: HAN Jun), Shaanxi History and Chinese Culture (Leader: LIU Rong), Conservation Techniques for Earthen Sites (Leader: SUN Manli), Human Geography (Leader: HUANG Xiaojun), and Management (Leader: HUI Ning). The first-class virtual simulation experiment teaching course is Anatomical Archaeological Excavation Process of Tombs (Leader: CHEN Honghai). (Academic Affairs Office, NWU)
