Recently, the results of the 2025 Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation selection were announced. A total of 10 doctoral dissertations from NWU were selected, including one awarded the “Qinchuangyuan Platform Special Award.” The number of selections this year reached a record high, ranking first among provincial universities and tied for fourth among all universities in the province.
The Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation award aims to recognize doctoral theses demonstrating outstanding innovation and academic value. The number selected typically does not exceed 3% of the doctoral degrees conferred within the province that year. This year, a dedicated “Qinchuangyuan Platform Special Award” was established to highlight the effectiveness of research outcomes transferred and applied within the province. This special award prioritizes recommendations of achievements by members of the Qinchuangyuan Platform’s “Scientist + Engineer” teams. (Graduate School of Northwest University)
