Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education Program of Financial Mathematics Approved at Northwest University

Recently, the Undergraduate Education Program of Financial Mathematics jointly launched by Northwest University and the University of Aberdeen has been officially approved. This is the universitys third approved Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education undergraduate program and a major achievement in expanding international education cooperation.

Jointly run by the School of Mathematics of Northwest University and the Business School of the University of Aberdeen, the program draws on high-quality disciplinary resources of both universities and focuses on the interdisciplinary integration of finance and mathematics with the adoption of the 4+0 School-running Mode. It plans to enroll 120 students every year. Enrollment is included in the national General Higher Education Enrollment Plan. Candidates shall take the National Unified Entrance Examination and comply with national unified enrollment policies and relevant regulations. Students who meet the graduation requirements of both universities will be awarded the Undergraduate Graduation Certificate and Bachelor of Economics Degree in Financial Mathematics issued by Northwest University, as well as the Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Finance issued by the University of Aberdeen.
