On the morning of June 3, the welcome ceremony for the second group of 2026 US student delegation themed “Exploring Qin Culture, Journey with Youth” was held at the Chang’an Campus of Northwest University. Han Zhibin，the Vice President of Northwest University, attended and delivered a speech. Relevant officials from Shaanxi Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Office of International Cooperation (School of International Education) and the School of Foreign Languages of Northwest University, 42 teachers and student members of the US youth study tour group, as well as student representatives of Northwest University took part in the ceremony. He Wei, Executive Deputy Director/ Deputy Dean of the Office of International Cooperation (School of International Education), presided over the ceremony.
The ceremony kicked off the exchange and study tour of the US young visitors. They will conduct study and exchanges in Xi’an, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other cities, and take part in various cultural experience activities to learn about a real and comprehensive China from multiple perspectives, which will further deepen people-to-people exchanges between young people of China and the United States.
