Recently, the National Textbook Committee announced the results of the Second National Textbook Construction Award. Modern World History (Vols. I & II, 2nd Edition), co-compiled by professor Huang Minxing of NWU as chief expert, won the first prize for national outstanding textbooks, while Data Structures in C (3rd Edition) edited by professor Geng Guohua, Classic Readings in the Study of Ancient Chinese Literature edited by professor Li Hao, and Introduction to Archaeology (2nd Edition), with professor Qian Yaopeng serving as deputy editor-in-chief, won the second prize for national outstanding textbooks.
