This year marks the 30th anniversary of Jiangsu-Shaanxi counterpart cooperation. From September 27 to 28, Jiang Lin, secretary of the CPC Northwest University Committee, and Sun Qingwei, president of the university, led a delegation to Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, to advance university-local government cooperation. On the morning of September 28, the Yancheng-Northwest University Cooperation Exchange Meeting and Signing Ceremony was held at the Yancheng Yingbin Hotel, attended by Yan Hanping, secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, and Wu Wei, deputy secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor. The meeting was moderated by Shang Jianming, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor. Officials from relevant departments of Yancheng and units of NWU attended the event.
At the ceremony, Wu Wei and Sun Qingwei signed the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the People’s Government of Yancheng City and Northwest University on behalf of the two sides, witnessed by Yan Hanping and Jiang Lin. During their stay in Yancheng, Jiang Lin, Sun Qingwei and their delegation also visited the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall, toured the Green and Low-Carbon Science and Technology Innovation Park and the Third Plant of Yueda Kia, and signed an agreement on industrial AI technology development with the Kunlun Interconnected New Energy Group.
