On the morning of October 15, the signing ceremony of the Framework Agreement on Cooperation in Jointly Building the China-Europe Railway Express Judicial Research Base was held at the Shaanxi Provincial Higher People’s Court. Jiang Min, deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group and vice president of the Provincial High Court, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Sun Qingwei, president of our university, attended the ceremony, signed the agreement on behalf of the university and delivered remarks at the symposium. Heads of the co-building units, including the Shaanxi Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Railway Xi’an Group Co., Ltd., Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an International Studies University, Northwest University of Political Science and Law and Xi’an International Port Group Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony.
Under the agreement, the eight units, as joint organizers, will jointly build a China-Europe Railway Express judicial research base that is non-legal-person and non-profit. Rooted in Shaanxi and extending its reach across China and Europe, the base will be built into a professional platform integrating theoretical research, practical discussion, talent cultivation, dispute resolution and rule output, and will promote the organic linkage of mediation, arbitration and litigation.
